Arriving

We came over to Lewis on the second sailing of the MV “Isle of Lewis” from Ullapool to Stornoway on Tuesday 19th July.

He’s happiest when he’s got a signal for his phone.

It was darned cold out on deck and we had some unpleasant swell in The Minch.

It’s cold and wet out on deck but the work has to go on.

Approaching Stornoway.

The freight ferry is already tied up at Stornoway.

What a pretty facia.

The mezzanine deck is lowered to let us off.

And we are about to land on the Isle of Lewis – my holiday begins in earnest.
