It's just after sunrise and somewhere out in the Minch it's raining. But not for long. After a couple of hours of dull weather another brilliant day, calm and sunny, followed...
We went into Stornoway and while GB laid in the essential supplies at the Co-op I walkd up Matheson Road and Goathill Road photographing railings. That may seem a strange thing to do but I shall tell you more about that on Rambles from my Chair in a day or so.
At lunchtime GB fitted the reversing sensors to the car - with a little help from Norman next door.
In the afternoon Carol and Iain dropped in on their way back from a walk.
Are friends supposed to laugh when I suggest tipping GB into the pond?

I have been looking at your old blog postings and came across this one. There is a name for the shafts of light coming through the clouds like that (Ken told me once) but I have forgotten it. Do you know what it is?
